Journal of European Integration Magazine
The journal publishes articles with a focus on European integration and an interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary perspective, thus integrating politics, economics, law, history, and sociology. European integration is understood as pan-European rather than as merely the EU, though the bulk of contributions might be devoted to the latter. It occasionally presents comparative studies of federalism, other forms of regional integration, and articles dealing with EU external relations, whether in the trade or security policy field.The main purpose of the journal is to serve a wide readership which implies that articles should be of a general rather than a specific or specialised nature. In other words, whilst the emphasis should be on scholarly work (analysis rather than description), it should provide explanations about the process of integration in a historical and comparative fashion, and avoid specific or highly specialised writings.All submissions will undergo a rigorous peer-group review process. Issues on exclusive subjects and non-specific issues are published in no particular order. Contributions are published in English or French.Cette revue publie des articles centrés sur le processus dintégration européenne, et ceci dans une perspective interdisciplinaire ou multidisciplinaire, englobant aussi bien sciences politiques et économiques, droit, histoire, sociologie. Lintégration européenne a ici le sens de pan-européenne plutôt que d’être restreinte à l’Union Européenne, même si la majorité des articles sera surtout consacrée à cette dernière.A loccasion cette revue présentera des études comparatives sur le sujet du fédéralisme ou dautres formes dintégration régionale, ainsi que des articles sur les relations extérieures de l’UE en matière de commerce ou de politique de sécurité.Cette revue étant destinée principalement à un public large, les articles devront être dun niveau général plutôt que hautement spécialisé. En dautres termes, bien que dun haut niveau intellectuel (mettant l’accent sur lanalyse plutôt que la description) la revue devra fournir des explications sur le processus dintégration européenne dun point de vue historique et comparatif en évitant tout langage spécifique ou trop spécialisé.Tout article proposé sera soumis à une rigoureuse évaluation par d’autres experts.
