Ethnopolitics is an authoritative peer-reviewed journal now published by Routledge. We publish original work of the highest quality in the field of ethnopolitics with methodological approaches covering mainly the disciplines of political science and international relations and taking primarily a contemporary, current affairs perspective.Ethnopolitics maintains a fair balance between theoretical analyses and case studies both of comparative as well as singular nature, covering all geographic areas. The major focus is on the analysis, management, settlement, and prevention of ethnic conflicts, on minority rights, group identity, the intersection of identity group formations and politics, on minority and majority nationalisms in the context of transitions to democracy, and on the security and stability of states and regions as they are affected by any of the above issues. Particular attention is also devoted to the growing importance of the international dimension of ethnopolitics, including diplomatic and military interventions, and the increasing impact of globalisation on ethnic identities and their political expressions.A particular feature of Ethnopolitics is the publication of special issues on a regular basis. Focusing on one specific topic and examining it in a comprehensive manner, special issues of Ethnopolitics are edited by scholars and practitioners with particular expertise in the subject matter. Contributions, which are normally invited by the editors, undergo the same rigorous review procedures as articles published in regular issues of the journal. Reading and Writing cuts through this fog of jargon, breaking down the artificial boundaries between disciplines. The journal focuses on the interaction among various fields, such as linguistics, information processing, neuropsychology, cognitive psychology, speech and hearing science and education.Reading and Writing publishes high-quality scientific articles pertaining to the processes, acquisition, and the loss of reading and writing skills. The journal publishes research articles, critical reviews, theoretical papers, case studies and book reviews. The journal also publishes short articles in the `In Brief section. Case studies and pilot reports with preliminary results may be suitable for publication in this section.
