Journal of Latin American Cultural Studies Magazine
The Journal of Latin American Cultural Studies (TraveSia) publishes articles on the history and analysis of Latin American culture and on the development of theories and methods for studying the cultural practices of Latin Americans. Multi-disciplinary articles which contribute to defining this strongly emerging area of research and debate are especially welcome, the disciplines of particular relevance being anthropology, communication studies, history and literature. Work which investigates the multiple effects of modernization is of special interest to the Journal as are articles which seek to explore the notion of cultural field. The Journal also welcomes research articles concerned with situations of cultural hybridity and with the development of methods for their analysis. The scope of articles is not limited to the nineteenth and twentieth centuries; the Journal also publishes work on the cultural history of the colonial period. There is a review section which carries authoritative review articles on the state of the art in given fields. Articles are welcome on the whole range of cultural processes and expressions, including the arts (literature, film, visual arts, music), communication and the practices of ethnic sub-societies. Articles that explore new methods and new areas of investigation are particularly encouraged. . Subscribe to

Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology A Magazine
The Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology publishes original articles on any topic within the field of human experimental psychology. The majority of papers published are substantial experimental reports. However, authoritative review articles and theoretical treatments are welcome, as are brief, theoretically driven, experimental reports which allow some definite and important conclusion to be reached.The journal covers the areas of memory, language, mental imagery,attention, decision making, problem solving, reasoning, learning, motor control, perception and related topics. Also invited are theoretically driven experimental reports on the effects of healthy ageing, and of neurological damage within the major topic areas above, as are papers that report computational modelling of human behavioural data. Manuscripts that include the use of functional brain imaging techniques (e.g., fMRI, PET, EEG) are welcome, providing that the primary focus is on adding substantial insight to the interpretation of patterns of human behavioural data and the research has a strong theoretical rationale set in a psychological rather than neurophysiological context.The journal is read internationally, and its contributors are similarly international, with articles from the UK, continental Europe, North America, and elsewhere in the world.Readers whose institutions subscribe to the journal can access electronic preprints of articles that have been accepted for publication, allowing early dissemination of accepted papers in advance of their appearance in the printed version of the journal. . European Journal of Developmental Psychology Magazine
The European Journal of Developmental Psychology is an official publication of the European Society for Developmental Psychology. It publishes original theoretical, empirical, methodological and review papers dealing with psychological development and developmental psychopathology during infancy, childhood and adolescence. It also publishes papers on social policy based on developmental science and which are relevant to education, health or well-being in infancy, childhood and adolescence. It is keen to receive papers relevant to European developmental psychology in that they take account of topics such as European history, European policy or cultural diversity and their relevance to developmental matters. The journal aims to cover the areas of cognitive and social development and the development of the person (self, identity and personality) and to do so from a disciplinary and/or an interdisciplinary perspective. In addition to full-length papers, the journal will publish research notes and book reviews. On occasions, issues will be devoted to a special theme (under the editorship of an invited expert). .
