The full gamut of crimes are covered from Arson, Burglary and Fraud to Violent assault, Terrorism, Rape and Homicide.JIP-OP encourages a wide range of methodologies and formats; e.g. intensive qualitative single case studies of offender profiles, large-scale quantitative analyses of official statistics, laboratory or field research; theoretical essays and review articles which draw on collections of published papers, book reviews and accounts of Investigative Psychology in different areas of the world. JIP-OP is of interest to university students and researchers, practitioners and policy makers; in government departments, private industry or commerce, specialist research institutes, police forces around the world and other law enforcement agencies, such as the Inland Revenue, Customs and Excise, Intelligence agencies, etc. In addition private investigation agencies and a wide swathe of the informed public will be attracted to the journal. .
